the gallery page is going to be a place for me to expand on my love of words, design and inspiration while making art that ignites the athletic ability to express and create.
the start of flow
The surrender, discipline, flow venn diagram has been an obsession of mine for a few years now. Something about it just makes sense to me on a cellular level, it’s the one pattern that, since learning it, has helped me decode so many others. It has been a kind of key for looking at the complexities of life.
I have also always been obsessed with quotes, words of wisdom and phrases that stick with you. I used to spend hours reading the same miniature quote books over and over. folding the corner of the tiny page down on the ones that really hit me. and you don’t even want to see my quote boards on pinterest.
sometimes you’ve experienced something profound but because you didn’t have the words to describe it you weren’t able to fully process and integrate it. but when you learn something new or you see a random venn diagram that opens your mind, you are then hit with a new understanding of a past realization. and then that basically changes your past because you’re seeing it through a new lens… so therefore you also just changed the future.
This is how I started becoming obsessed with flow. seeing that Venn and getting it tattooed on me and then pondering it so much that i realized i knew what the experience of flow was like. I had felt it before.
so then im able to go back and track the moments of flow i have felt before. and then it becomes easier to notice flow as it happens. and that makes it easier to stay in it and easier tO maintain flow, and steadiness and downstream trust of my highest good and the universal power. and when i’m in that place Life is Good no matter what!
